The 56.5mm Shower Screen is secured to the Group Head by a bolt. It allows water to flow freely to the Filter Basket of the Portafilter. The shower screen should be replaced regularly, as it will become caked with coffee oil residue and reduce the flow of water into the portafilter. This will affect the permeability rate through the coffee, thus changing the taste of coffee.
