The Membrane Regulator attaches to the Water Pump via the male threading shown in the picture. It ensures uniformity in water flow throughout the water circuit. The silicone tube connects to the Thermoblock Outlet Valve. Over time, scale build-up reduces the membrane regulator's ability to maintain the proper pressure during the rinse, brew or steam functions. If you notice a decrease in coffee flow, the pump is noisier or consistently receive a fill system message, then the membrane regulator may need to be replaced.

To remove the regulator, release the clamp connection from the Outlet Valve. Turn the Membrane Regulator counter-clockwise to remove from the pump. Use Teflon tape on the threading of the new Regulator to ensure a tight seal.
